From the Airport to Connect in Patong

You have several choices of transport from the Airport to Connect.

You can ask us by e-mail or phone to pick you up at the airport.

We need to know your flight number and arrival time at least one day ahead. The price is 600 THB, The driver will wait for you outside the airport building and he will have a sign with your name on it. Please call to Connect (076-294195) if you cant find the driver.

If you are traveling with a lot of luggage or a group of maximum 8 persons we can arrange with a private mini-van for 800 THB.

You can also use the Taxi service. Please observe that there is the Airport Limousine service counter (600 THB) and the Meter Taxi counter. Meter taxi is slightly less expensive than the Airport Limo service. There is also a choice to take a shared mini-van for 200 THB/person.

Please note that there are tourist scams like the taxi drivers who want to take you to another hotel where they have commission. They might even say that Connect is closed or show you to a travel agent half way to Patong. Please always report these drivers to TAT (tourist Authority of Thailand) phone 076-211036.

If you are on a budget you can take the Airport Bus (52 THB) to Central Festival shopping mall. Get off at Central and walk straight trough the entire shopping complex and wait for the local bus across the road from centrals main entrance. This local bus will take you to Patong Beach for 25 THB. At Patong you can take a motorbike taxi (20 THB) to Paradise Complex (way out) and you will soon be at Connect Guesthouse for less than 100 THB for the transport from the airport.
Airport bus runs daily to and from Phuket International Airport. A bus leaves at 1 to 1.30 hour intervals. The Airport bus is clearly marked with "Airport Bus". For more information about the Airport bus call TAT office at 076-211036, 076-212213. Y

From Phuket town to Connect in Patong

The local bus from Phuket town starts at the local fresh market. It will take off in general every 30 minutes or when the driver finds it worth starting. The bus starts at 06:00 AM and stops at 18:00. The route Phuket town-Patong cost 25 THB. When you arrive in Patong you will go down to the beach road so a good place to get of is the intersection beach road and Bangla road. Walk Bangla road up to the traffic light at Rath-U-Thit 200 years road. Take to the left and walk 200 meters and you will see the high Royal Paradise Hotel on the right side. Do not walk the way in to Paradise complex, instead walk on until you find the "way out" of Paradise Complex. Here you will see the Sign Connect Guesthouse just 50 meters up the road.

If you go by Tuk-Tuk they will generally ask for 300-400 THB and a Taxi (if you are able to find one) will charge you 400-500 THB. A motor bike taxi will go for 150 THB.
